نظر سپہر پہ رکھتا ہے جو ستارہ شناس
نہیں ہے اپنی خودی کے مقام سے آگاہ
خودی کو جس نے فلک سے بلند تر دیکھا
وہی ہے مملکتِ صبح و شام سے آگاہ
وہی نگاہ کے ناخُوب و خُوب سے محرم
وہی ہے دل کے حلال و حرام سے آگاہ
