اہلِ ہُنر سے
مہر و مہ و مشتری، چند نفس کا فروغ
عشق سے ہے پائدار تیری خودی کا وجود
تیرے حرم کا ضمیر اسود و احمر سے پاک
ننگ ہے تیرے لیے سُرخ و سپید و کبود
تیری خودی کا غیاب معرکۂ ذکر و فکر
تیری خودی کا حضور عالمِ شعر و سرود
رُوح اگر ہے تری رنجِ غلامی سے زار
تیرے ہُنَر کا جہاں دَیر و طواف و سجود
اور اگر باخبَر اپنی شرافت سے ہو
تیری سِپہ اِنس و جِنّ، تُو ہے امیرِ جُنود!
