جب ترا انتظار ہوتا ہے
جب ترا انتظار ہوتا ہے
دل بہت بے قرار ہوتا ہے
دل پہ چلتا ہے اختیار ان کا
جب یہ بے اختیار ہوتا ہے
عشق ہوتا ہے حسن کا ہم سر
جب یہ خود اختیار ہوتا ہے
وہ مجھے بے قرار کرنے کو
پہلے خود بے قرار ہوتا ہے
حرص شہرت نہیں تو رونا کیوں
نالہ بھی اشتہار ہوتا ہے
دوست کہہ کر نہ دے فریب اے دوست
دوست پر اعتبار ہوتا ہے
نازنیں ہیں کب ایسے لوگ صفیؔ
جن کا احسان بار ہوتا ہے
