لرزتا دیپ
دور شب کا سرد ہات
آسماں کے خیمۂ زنگار کی
آخری قندیل گل کرنے بڑھا
اور کومل چاندنی
ایک در بستہ گھروندے سے پرے
مضمحل پیڑوں پہ گر کر بجھ گئی
بے نشاں سائے کی دھیمی چاپ پر
اونگتے رستے کے ہر ذرے نے پل بھر کے لیے
اپنی پلکوں کی بجھی درزوں سے جھانکا
اور آنکھیں موند لیں
اس سمے طاق شکستہ پر لرزتے دیپ سے
میں نے پوچھا
ہم نفس
اب ترے بجھنے میں کتنی دیر ہے؟
