ہندوستان
ناقوس سے غرض ہے نہ مطلب اذاں سے ہے
مجھ کو اگر ہے عشق تو ہندوستاں سے ہے
تہذیب ہند کا نہیں چشمہ اگر ازل
یہ موج رنگ رنگ پھر آئی کہاں سے ہے
ذرے میں گر تڑپ ہے تو اس ارض پاک سے
سورج میں روشنی ہے تو اس آسماں سے ہے
ہے اس کے دم سے گرمئی ہنگامۂ جہاں
مغرب کی ساری رونق اسی اک دکاں سے ہے
