باوجود حسن تو آگاہ رعنائی نہ تھا

جلوۂ رنگیں پہ تجھ کو ناز یکتائی نہ تھا
دید کے قابل تھی میرے عشق کی بھی سادگی
جبکہ تیرا حسن سرگرم خود آرائی نہ تھا
کیا ہوئے وہ دن کہ محو آرزو تھے حسن و عشق
ربط تھا دونوں میں گو ربط شناسائی نہ تھا
تو نے حسرتؔ کی عیاں تہذیب رسم عاشقی
اس سے پہلے اعتبار شان رسوائی نہ تھا
