अवध नगरिया से अइली बरियतिया सुनुरे सजनी।
जनक नगरिया भइलें सोर सुनु रे सजनी।
चलु-चलु सखिया देखि आई बरियतिया सुनुरे सजनी।
पहिरऽ न लहंगा पटोर सुनु रे सजनी।
राजा दशरथ जी के प्राण के आधारवा सुनुरे सजनी।
कोसिला के अधिका पियरा सुनु रे सजनी।
कहत महेन्दर भरी देखितीं नयनवाँ सुनु रे सजनी।
फेरू नाहीं जुटिहें सुतार सुनु रे सजनी।
