-Chimmatimni koʼtarib koʼrdi xushtorim,
Dedim: «Tiriklikda shudir mozorim!»

Chimmatimning qillari yuzimga botar,
Bu qafaslar ichida qachon tong otar?

Chimmatimni tashlasam, hech kim olmaydi,
Ota-onam holimga nazar solmaydi.

«Chimmat» , «chashvon» degani hammasi bir gap,
Koʼp chiroylik koʼzlarning yoshiga sabab…

Chimmat tekkan yuzlarim soʼlib boradi,
Koʼnguldagi umidlarim oʼlib boradi…

Chimmatimni irgʼitay, ushla, xushtorim!
-Paranjini qoʼshib tashla, ozodsan, yorim!
