Ilk evvel goʻzimi ishq ila ochdim,
Ishqing meydanina qanimi sachdim.
Ishqsiz oʻlkalerden u endi qochdim,
Ne zamon bogʻladim zunnore ishqi.

Ishq deya ayrildim dindan, imandan,
Anglamam hech bir sey joy insof, vijdondan.
Ishka sajda etdim, boʻldim u ondan,
Ne zamon qatl etdim kuffor-i ishqi.

Jannat benim uchun quruq sahrodir,
Ishqning sahrosi, kim banga maʼvodir.
Aksini sen banga ne qadar qondir.
Qonmam, chunki bildim gulzor-i ishqi.

Ishqing meydoninda bir pexlivanim,
Bir maxshar qoʻparur har damda qonim,
Na buyuk benim, baq, ishqqa imonim,
Yera diz choʻtirdim jabbar-i ishq.

Ben ishqing mulkiga yagona hoqon,
Banga boʻyin egar bil jumla-i sulton.
Inanir oʻrduma shuyla bir boqqan,
Koʻr nija saf bista ashkor ishqi.

Soʻylarkan dillarim na yomon,
Yozarkan qalamim na hazin agʻlar,
Soddadil bunlardan na maʼni anglar,
Bilmas kuch oʻldugʻi is’hor-i ishqi.
