La rueca
N' arca rebilicoquiada
Hebo guardada la rueca,
Onde filara so vida
La santa y piadosa güela.
Allá pelos años mozos,
Cabo l' arroxada lleña,
Dempués d' echadu 'l rosariu
Filó d' amores la freba,
Metanto que xelu y ñeve
Abaxaben de la sierra,
Y canturriando El Galán
D' esta villa y Doña Enxendra,
Entamaba la fusada
Que corazones allegra.
Dimpués, amestando penes,
Apiegaba cola llengua
El filu rotu exmesando
Deprisa, exmesa qu' exmesa;
Y, á par xustaba 'l roqueru
De sedes y llentexuelas,
El fusu revolotiaba
Allegre porque s' enllena,
Como l' abeya ente flores,
Pa dar cumplida cadexa.
Diba 'l filu lluengu y bonu,
Y la vida bona y Iluenga
Ansí pasaba exmesando
Ora pasín, ora apriesa.
Y cuando 'l sol poco á poco,
Mortiguada la foguera,
Con lluciquines rosades
Valle y montes encapiella,
Sentadina na quintana
Mirólu fuxir l' agüela;
Y enos dedinos cual gayos
Duna parra seroñega,
Fo quedando adormecía,
Fo descansando la rueca;
Qu' hebo guardá cual riliquia
Pa que los míos fíos la ufrendan
A los ñetos, y filando
Un cerru de bona mena
El llino semao na vida
Sía fusada nas estrellas.
