May bu kun shishadan toshib chiqmishdir,
Uning bir tomchisi yerga tushmasin.
Uni xayolimiz amal demishdir,
Amallar majlisdan chetga ko‘chmasin.

Maylar shishalarda qo‘shiqlar aytib,
Bizning iydimizni qutlab turadir.
Mayning ko‘piklari ming qatla qaytib,
Majlis lazzatini so‘zlab turadir.

Mayning atrofinda eski o‘rtoqlar,
Yig‘ilib o‘ltirib, suhbat qilalar,
Majlis shodligini ko‘rib «oppoqlar»
Hurmat yuzasidan salom beralar.

Mayning ko‘piklari tutqun o‘g‘lini
Qayg‘u chog‘larida yupatib tursin.
Mastlikda o‘rganib o‘ng va so‘lini
O‘ksik bolalari u yo‘ldan yursin.
Mayning ko‘piklari ko‘zning qorasi,
Mastlar o‘lsalar-da, «eslik» qolg‘usi.
