O‘kirib, guvlagan tovush keladir,
Kechaning keng sukutini tiladir…

Bilmayman.

Qulog‘imni sira ololmayman.
Balki, bir to‘p ajinaning qo‘shig‘i,
Yoki alvasti tovushining cho‘zig‘i,
Yoki tog‘larda dev botir o‘ynar,
Yoki sahroda bo‘rilar to‘yi bor…

Kechaning, balki, yig‘lagan dodi,
Balki, kunning alamli faryodi!..
