(g) Registered Barangay Worker - refers to a registered barangay worker who has undergone but has not completed an accredited training program and whose status in the BWRAC is "registered" but not accredited, pending completion of proper accreditation.
SECTION 4. ALAMINOS CITY BARANGAY WORKER REGISTRATION AND ACCREDITATION COMMITTEE.-
a) In order for Barangay Workers to be entitled to the allowance provided under this Ordinance, they must be registered and accredited by the following institutions:
• Local Health Board for the BHW
• City Nutrition Council for the BNS
• City Peace and Order Council for the CVO
b) To facilitate registration and accreditation of barangay workers, there is hereby created a Barangay Worker Registration and Accreditation Committee, which is composed of the following:
- The City Health Officer as Chairperson
- The City Local Government Operations Officer (DILG) as Vice Chairperson
- Chairperson of the Sangguniang Panlungsod Committee on Health
- A representative of the Liga ng mga Barangay
- A representative of the Local Health Board A representative of the City Nutrition Council
- A representative of the City Peace and Order Council
- A representative of Non-Governmental Organization / People's Organization implementing health, nutrition and/or peace & order-related programs in the city which is not already a part of other established councils in the city;
- The president of City BHW Federation;
- The president of BNS Federation, if any; and
- The president of CVO Federation, if any
Upon concurrence of the Local Health Board, the City Nutrition Council, and the City Peace and Order Council, membership of BWRAC may be expanded depending on its need for a more efficient system of registration and accreditation.
c) To set a baseline and limitation of registration, the BWRAC shall see to it that the total number of registered BHWS, BNSS, and CVOS shall not exceed one percent (1%) of the total population of the city. Provided that, total BHW per barangay shall not exceed one percent (1%) of the total population of the barangay or have a ratio of zero point five (0.5%) BHW: 100 households per barangay, whichever is higher. Provided further that, total BNSs in every barangay shall not exceed two (2) per barangay. Provided finally that, total CVOS in every barangay shall not exceed one percent (1%) of the total population of the barangay or have a ratio of zero point five (0.5%) CVO: 100 households per barangay, whichever is higher.
Should the barangay be in need of more barangay workers, this Ordinance shall not preclude the engagement of these volunteers, provided that the allowances provided to them shall come from barangay funds;
