EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 2020-08

CREATING THE NOVEL CORONAVIRUS (nCov) TASK FORCE OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF ARINGAY, LA UNION

WHEREAS, "Section 16 of the Local Government Code of 1991, General Welfare, provides that within their respective territorial jurisdictions, local government units shall ensure and support among other things, the promotion of health and safety of their inhabitants."

WHEREAS, "the World Health Organization (WHO) declared a World Health Emergency the outbreak of the coronavirus,"

WHEREAS, "DILG Secretary Eduardo M. Año has directed all LGUs to be on a state of preparedness and take all pro-active steps to stop the spread of the dreaded coronavirus, thus the creation of a Novel Coronavirus (nCov) Task Force,"

NOW THEREFORE, I. Eric O Sibuma, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law as the Municipal Mayor of Aringay, La Union, do hereby order and direct the creation of the Novel Coronavirus (Cov) Task Force of the Municipality of Aringay. La Union

Composition The Novel Coronavirus (nCov) Task Force shall be composed of the following:

Roles The Task Force shall perform the following roles:

1. To implement DOH protocols and guidelines and extend full cooperation to the DOH and other government agencies to meet the world health emergency;

2 Shall ensure that local health authorities have the necessary equipment and protective gadgets such as masks, goggles, gowns, gloves, etc.

3. Cause the referral and transport of a Novel Coronavirus (Cov) suspect to a DOH designated coronavirus-referral center of hospital, in coordination with DOH and police authorities
