DECLARATION OF THE EXECUTIVE COUNCIL OF THE MON PEOPLE'S FRONT On eho cece eyereereeense

In accordance with the decision made at the Plenary Session of the Supreme Council of the Mon People's Front, this declaration is hereby published for information of the general public and the world at large. :

The Supreme Council of the Mon People's Front, in fulfilling its historical mission shall ally itself with different strata of friend- ly elements to wage the war of liberation to the very end against the ,enemies of the revolution to achieve the long cherished aspirations of the entire Mon masses in the form of an Independent Sovereign State comprising of ‘territories historically demarcated and demanded by the Mons. : ; -

While undertaking the huge task entrusted upon it, the Supreme Council will lead the nation in overcoming all hardships and tribulations confronting the Mons, and in raising the standard of living of all the peoples -in the liberated areas.

Instantaneous to the materialization of Monland, the Supreme Council is ready with projects in the field of rehabilitation, education and culture, workers and peasants, foreign and internal relations, national defence and other national uplift activities to restore national prosperity.

The Supreme Council will suppo?t and collaborate with all indi- genous races, such as, .:\rakanese, Karens, Kachins, Pa-os, Shans, Kayahs and Chins in their strvvgle for the right of self-determination inclusive of the right of secessi:n, till peers to she satisfaction of all is attained.

Pending the convention of the Crnstituent Assembly of Monland elected by universal fianchise under the oe of true democracy, the Plenary Session of -he Supreme Council the Mon People's Front shall exercise the functions and powers of the Constituent Assembly, elect the Executive Cotncil of Monland ani vest it with the authority

to exercise provisions: state power.
