Qildi yaksar xotirim g‘amgin, dilim qon ehtiyoj,
Tushmasun hech kimga yorab, menga tushgon ehtiyoj,
Tanglig‘da xasta ko‘nglum g‘uncha yanglig‘ aylabon,
Har sorig‘a oxiri etti parishon ehtiyoj.
Bo‘lsa gar, donoi dahru fozili asr ul kishi,
Baxt yovar bo‘lmasa qilg‘usi xo‘bon ehtiyoj.
Lashkari g‘amdin o‘zimni emdi qandog‘ qutqaray
Kim, meni ilkida onlar qo‘ydi giryon ehtiyoj.
Nega tuzmay navhalar har dam chekib, yuz ohkim,
El aro qildi meni bebargu somon ehtiyoj.
Kulbai yo‘qluqda erdum hamchu anqo, do‘stlar,
Oxirida ayladi mashhuri davron ehtiyoj.
Ayla Shavkat sabr etib har damda yuz ming shukrlar
Kim, erur boshingg‘a tushgon lutfi yazdon ehtiyoj.
