Qop-qora sochidan ikkita gajjak
Buralib-buralib yuziga tushmish.
Qolganlari yana bo‘lakma-bo‘lak
Belidan ilondek yerga cho‘zilmish.

Uning yuzlarida boshqa qizlardek
Ketsiz qayg‘ularning izlari yo‘qdir.
Balki erkda o‘sgan erka qizlardek
To‘lg‘in yuzlarida doim sho‘xlikdir.

Ko‘zlari kulishdan boshqani bilmas,
Har doim og‘zidan shakkar to‘kilur.

Sevgidan boshqaga bo‘yni egilmas,
Oldida so‘fining ahdi buzilur…

Ixcham barmoqlari qilda yugursa,
Jonsiz qillar daxi qush kabi sayrar.
Yengil oyoqlari yo‘rg‘alab ketsa,
Sil bo‘lgan ko‘ngil ham ochilar, yayrar!

Qizil yuzlarida ikki gajjakcha…
Ayniqsa, ko‘p ko‘rkam bo‘lgan shu kecha!..
