Boqchalarda gullar so‘ldi, sezmadim,
O‘stirganlar yetim bo‘ldi, sezmadim,
Ko‘ngillarga qora to‘ldi, sezmadim,
Sezdim sening ketganingni ko‘ngildan…

Ketgan yo‘ling yiroq yo‘ldir, keti yo‘q,
Boshlanishi: quruq va keng bir bo‘shliq,
Tugalishi: yana cheksiz bir yo‘qlik,
Biroq qaytmoq yo‘qdir tushgan yo‘lingdan…

Ketding, biroq izlaringda ko‘z qoldi,
Tillaringda aytilmagan so‘z qoldi,
O‘ksiz bo‘lib yotlar emas, «o‘z» qoldi,
Chuqur ma’no istab eski so‘zingdan…
