El neñin ye más fermosu
Qu' el sol qu' alluma nel cielu;
La santa Madre una ´strella,
El señor José un lluceru.
Hoy isti probe portal
Golvióse 'n devina gloria,
Nunca cedió tal vitoria,
El degorriu collumbrar;
Porque ¿ quien había 'sperar
Que´i frayase la mollera
Una candial doncellina,
Y fore la cruz la insina
Pa 'repuñai la fiereza ?
¿ Que grandeza !
¡ Ye nisti puntu de ver
Lo que pudio tal muyer !
¿ Qu' el neñín qu' al pechu cría
Riyendo soxetaria
Del Pecao el mal poder ?
¿ Tan pequeñu y tanta hombría ?
Non sé como puée ser,
Fast' el cielu maravía.
¡ Qué allegría
Ye la nostra nisti día !
¡ Q' un neñín
Mansu com' un corderín
Nuestru triciu aventaría !
¡ Qué allegría !
¡ Cómo lu mira josé !
¡ Cómo lu besa María !
