Yana men senga qaytdim, ey ko‘klam,
Chunki borgan sari yuzing ochilib,
Chunki borgan sari hiding sochilib,
Sil ko‘ngillarga baxsh etar malham!

Kechaning sirli qo‘yniga bekinib,
Kechaga totli bo‘salarni berib,
Yuzidan pardalarni irg‘itgan,
Dunyoga bir kelin kabi chiqqan

Turli tuslardagi chechaklarni
Ko‘rsam, ayniqsa, tong otar chog‘da,
So‘ngra kun qon sochib botar chog‘da,
So‘nggi nur o‘ynagan teraklarni –

Shunda shabboda-qiz bilan birga
Quvlashib o‘ynaganda yaproqlar,
Shu juvon toldagi quruq bir shox –
Qup-quruq gavdasin tutib yelga –
Qaysi ko‘klamni, bilmadim, yo‘qlar?
Kimga hasratini anglatar?!
