Bir necha yil qantargach,
Yana oldim sozimni,
Endi aytib yig‘lamas
Ko‘ngildagi rozimni.

Ko‘ngildagi kudurat
Ko‘tarildi, nihoyat.
Endi ilhom manbai –
Qaynab yotgan shu hayot!

Qillaridan sozimning
To‘kilajak shan kuylar,
Hur o‘lkaning hur qizi
Singari qashang kuylar.

Qurilish dostonlari
Pardalardan oqajak.
Eh ko‘ngil, yangi dardlar
Tag‘in seni yoqajak!
