Bundan 3-4 yil burun mening tomondan yozilg‘an “Uzunquloq bobo” pyesasi oqqa ko‘chirilmasdan turub yo‘qolg‘an edi. Bu yil o‘sha pyesani to‘rt pardali qilib va yangi usullarg‘a to‘g‘rilab yozib chiqdim. Oldimizdag‘i qish ichi Maskavda o‘zbek dram maktabida tayyorlanib, kelgusi yilda O‘zbekistonda qo‘yilsa kerak. Shuning uchun burung‘i eski pardani sahnaga qo‘ymasliqlarini so‘rayman. Lekin, tarixiy jihatdan mening o‘zimgagina ahamiyati bo‘lg‘an uchun, agar o‘zimga qaytarsalar yana yaxshi bo‘ladir.

U pyesadan boshqa sobiq Buxoro Maorif nazorati qo‘lida bo‘lg‘an “Cho‘rining isyoni” nomli pyesam ham yo‘qolg‘an. U ham e’lon tili bilan aytsak “e’tibordan soqitdir”..
