اس بت بے مثال کا پہلو
ہے خدا سے وصال کا پہلو
ماہ کو تیس دن کی گردش میں
ایک شب ہے کمال کا پہلو
دل دیا اس کو اک نگاہ کے ساتھ
نہ ملا دیکھ بھال کا پہلو
مفت کی مے ملے گی اے قاضی
ڈھونڈھ اس کے حلال کا پہلو
غیر کے گھر نہ جا سکے وہ رات
نہ ملا ان کو چال کا پہلو
ہوجیے غیر سے نہ گرم سخن
اس میں ہیں اشتعال کا پہلو
تو جگہ پائے اس کے پہلو میں
ہے اثرؔ یہ محال کا پہلو
