افسوس گزر گئی جوانی
وہ لمحۂ کیف و شادمانی
کیا آ گئی نیند اہل محفل
کہنی تھی ہمیں بھی اک کہانی
میں حسن وفا کی زندگی تھا
تم نے مری قدر ہی نہ جانی
اب تک ایمن کی وادیوں سے
آتی ہے صدائے لن ترانی
سیمابؔ کرو اب اللہ اللہ
تا چند یہ ماتم جوانی
