جو کی کچھ شکایت تو جھنجھلائیے گا
وہ برق تجلی کی جو جلوہ گاہ
وہیں حضرت دل نہ رہ جائیے گا
ادب کی جگہ مرنے والو ہے قبر
سمجھ کر یہاں پاؤں پھیلائیے گا
غریب اب تو قدموں میں ہی آ پڑا
دل ناتواں کو نہ ٹھکرائیے گا
خبر بھی ہے کچھ بار عصیاں کی شوقؔ
ہوئی واں جو پرسش تو شرمایئے گا
