بو ذوق بصر لمس سمع خاصۂ عنصر
عنصر خلی باد آتش و آب و کرۂ خاک
ایزاد ہوئے چار طبق تب ہوئے چودہ
صورتگری و حافظہ و دانش و ادراک
کہتے ہیں جسے عرش وہ ہے جلوۂ پندار
گردش میں ہیں جس سے طبقات ہمہ افلاک
ہے پاس ادب مانع ساحرؔ پے اظہار
ہے مطلع خورشید وگرنہ سر لولاک
