Пантелеймон Петрович Башаев
(1869–1944)

Советский работник и общественный деятель, эрзя. Участник Октябрьской революции. В 1919 — зав. мордовским подотделом Самарского губисполкома, 1920 — зав. мордовским отделом Наркомнаца РСФСР, один из организаторов государственности Мордовии и инициатор Всероссийского съезда мордовских коммунистов (1921, Самара).
