Hello Jaba1977, welcome to the multilingual Wikisource! Thanks for your interest in the project; we hope you'll enjoy the community and your work here.

This wiki is the original Wikisource wiki, originally hosting works in many languages. The larger collections have been spawned into separate projects, leaving this wiki to serve as a central collaboration point, and as an environment where works without a language subdomain can be begin. Refer to our Languages list to see which languages still reside on this wiki.

Most questions and discussions about the community are in the Scriptorium.

The Community Portal lists tasks you can help with if you wish. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me on my talk page! -Zyephyrus 21:53, 20 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Georgian Wikisource

edit

@Jaba1977 Thanks to the efforts of contributors like you, there are many Georgian texts on Multilingual Wikisource. But there are no active contributors on the project these days. I think, it can be considered for a separate subdomain if the community is able to demonstrate ownership of the project. At-least 3 editors with 10+ edits per month for a few months is the criteria. Let me know if you need any help. - Satdeep Gill (talk) 15:40, 19 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Thank you very much. Everything is clear! Jaba1977 (talk) 07:15, 23 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Satdeep Gill Hi! I think all the criteria that you outlined above have already been done. I think we can already launch a separate language Wikisource, right? – Mehman (talk) 21:47, 31 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Mehman and @Jaba1977 The language committee has already resumed a discussion for approving Georgian Wikisource. Thank you for your consistent contributions. - Satdeep Gill (talk) 04:20, 1 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
