You are now a sysop on Wikisource. Do you write in any language(s) other than English and Mandarin? Because this is a multilingual project I am trying to show the languages that administrators use so that if there is a problem about any new user's contributions we can try to find someone who can ask questions in his language.

I am also working on the master table of contents for articles in all languages. This includes integrating the Chinese material into that index. I hope that you will be able to help me make those links, and perhaps create romanization for some of the important ones. Thanks. Eclecticology 09:10, 5 Mar 2004 (UTC)

Thanks! I say Chinese.--Shizhao 01:55, 6 Mar 2004 (UTC)
I can understand that problem, and how it can be a sensitive matter to some. Here in Richmond, a suburb of Vancouver, my son took Chinese language lessons for a while a few years ago. There is a significant Chinese immigrant population in Richmond. I remarked then that if lessons were offered by someone from Hong Kong they would have courses in Cantonese and Mandarin; someone from the north or from Taiwan would offer courses in Cantonese and Chinese!

Could you please look at the contributions of User:Yaohua2000, and give your opinion. His user page is strange, and I am suspicious of someone who sees it as important to include details of eclipses in particular cities until the year 3000. He has also added the constitution of the PRC, but his other activities leave me concerned about whether he has done so accurately. Eclecticology 19:51, 16 Mar 2004 (UTC)

I see that you were the most significant contributor to Wikisource:Multilingual statistics. Nothing significant has been done to it in the last 2 months. Is there any chance that you could please bring it up to date? Or should we just delete it? Eclecticology 17:01, 5 May 2004 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for adding the Chinese authors to the author indexes. What would really be nice on those pages would be to also add the Pinyin for these names. Your effort is much appreciated. Eclecticology 18:05, 22 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Could you please look at Галин, Александр Владимирович. История группы Джетро Талл. I've marked it as a copyvio, but would like a second opinion from someone who understands Russian better than I do. Thanks. Eclecticology 18:26, 17 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Please do not delete the Cantonese Main Page here while user:CantoneseWiki wants to keep a local Main Page for Cantonese here at wikisource.org.
